Armenian Central Bank said its  overall capital increased last year fourfold to 30.4 billion Drams, up  from 7.7 billion Drams in late 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Central Bank\u2019s chartered capital did not change \u2013remaining at 100  million Drams, while its major reserve grew by 15.4% or by 1.5 billion  Drams to 11.4 billion Drams.<\/p>\n<p>The amount of accumulated reserves after assets revaluation,  available for sale, was down by 1.4 billion Drams against 163.5 million  in late 2008. The volume of accumulated losses dropped by 25.5% to 65.4  billion Drams, while the amount of additional authorized capital on  Central Bank\u2019s amount \u2013the government\u2019s investment in Central Bank  capital- did not change from late 2008 standing at 85.7 billion Drams.
