{"id":100218,"date":"2016-08-02T11:40:48","date_gmt":"2016-08-02T11:40:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2016\/08\/02\/245014\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:24:48","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:24:48","slug":"2-2-year-on-year-growth-in-armenias-financial-sector-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2016\/08\/02\/100218\/","title":{"rendered":"2.2% year-on-year growth in Armenia\u2019s financial sector services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, August 2. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Services in Armenia\u2019s finance and insurance sectors totaled AMD 118.6 billion in Jan-June 2016 showing a 2.2 percent year-on-year growth.<\/p>\n<p>According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, services in the finance sector grew 4.9% in June 2016, compared with June 2015, to AMD 21.3 billion accounting for 20.3% of the total amount of the country\u2019s all services.<\/p>\n<p>Services in Armenia grew 8.3% in Jan-June 2016, compared with the same period a year earlier, to AMD 583 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The second biggest service-providing segment is culture, entertainment and rest. Its services amounted to AMD 113.2 billion in Jan-June 2016 showing a 40.5% year-on-year growth.<\/p>\n<p>The country\u2019s information and communication sector faced a 0.2% decline to AMD 102.9 billion, while transport sector enjoyed a 22.8% growth to AMD 76.4 billion.
