{"id":100996,"date":"2016-09-01T10:47:30","date_gmt":"2016-09-01T10:47:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2016\/09\/01\/245140\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:25:12","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:25:12","slug":"services-in-armenias-finance-sector-2-2-to-amd-139-1-billion-in-jan-july-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2016\/09\/01\/100996\/","title":{"rendered":"Services in Armenia\u2019s finance sector 2.2% to AMD 139.1 billion in Jan-July 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVA, September 1. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Services in Armenia\u2019s finance and insurance sectors totaled AMD 139.1 billion in Jan-July 2016 showing a 2.2% year-on-year growth, the National Statistical Service reports.<\/p>\n<p>Services in the financial sector grew 2% in July 2016, compared with the same month a year earlier, to AMD 20.6 billion.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statistical report, the share of the financial sector in the total amount of the country\u2019s services is 20.2%.<\/p>\n<p>Services in Armenia totaled AM D 690.1 billion in Jan-July 20126 \u2013 7.6% year-on-year growth.<\/p>\n<p>The second biggest service-providing segment after the finance sector was culture and entertainment with AMD 132.5 billion and 35% year-on-year growth, which is followed by information and communication (AMD 121.7 billion and 0.3% decline) and transport (AMD 90.6 billion and 21.8% growth).
