{"id":101990,"date":"2016-10-05T14:15:38","date_gmt":"2016-10-05T14:15:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2016\/10\/05\/245273\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:25:37","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:25:37","slug":"armenias-monetary-base-in-august-increased-by-1-8-from-july-to-about-852-3-billion-drams","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2016\/10\/05\/101990\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenia\u2019s monetary base in August increased by 1.8% from July to about 852.3 billion drams"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, October 5. \/ ARKA \/.<\/strong> Armenia\u2019s monetary base in August 2016 increased by 1.8% from July to about 852.3 billion drams, the National Statistical Service (NSS) said citing the preliminary data of the Central Bank.<\/p>\n<p>According to NSS, cash outside the Central Bank in late August stood at about 405.4 billion drams, up from 404.7 billion drams in late July.<\/p>\n<p>Correspondent accounts in Armenian drams stood at about 293.1 billion drams against nearly 309.1 billion drams at the end of July, and accounts in foreign currency were worth the equivalent of 146 billion drams against 114 billion drams at the end of July.<\/p>\n<p>Net international reserves (without privatization funds) at the end of August 2016 amounted to about 452.4 billion dams, having increased by 11.6% from July.<\/p>\n<p>The amount of net domestic assets during the reporting period stood at approximately 399.9 billion drams, up from 431.5 billion drams at the end of July.
