{"id":103898,"date":"2016-12-06T13:21:52","date_gmt":"2016-12-06T13:21:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2016\/12\/06\/245579\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:26:43","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:26:43","slug":"median-monthly-gross-salary-in-finance-and-insurance-sector-grew-by-6-1-in-september-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2016\/12\/06\/103898\/","title":{"rendered":"Median monthly gross salary in finance and insurance sector grew by 6.1% in September 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, December 6. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> The gross median monthly salary in one of the highest-paid segments of the Armenian economy \u2013 finance and insurance- increased by 6.1% to 371,559 drams in September 2016 from the year before, according to the National Statistical Service (NSS).<\/p>\n<p>The median gross monthly salary in information and communication sectors was about 386,600 drams and 355,300 drams in the mining industry.<\/p>\n<p>The lowest paid sectors were culture, entertainment and leisure &#8211; 113,200 drams, agriculture, forestry and fisheries \u2013 118,900 drams, education &#8211; 122,600 drams, hotels and public catering &#8211; 127, 800 drams.<br \/>\nIn September 2016 the median gross monthly salary across the country was 187,439 drams, or about 1.4% more than in September 2015.<\/p>\n<p>In 2016 September the highest median gross monthly salary was boasted by the southern province of Syunik &#8211; 216,600 drams, while the lowest paid region was the central province of Aragatsotn \u2013 129,000 drams.
