{"id":104922,"date":"2017-01-16T09:58:36","date_gmt":"2017-01-16T09:58:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2017\/01\/16\/245761\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:27:21","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:27:21","slug":"armenian-central-bank-registers-areximbank-gazprombank-group-and-ardshinbank-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2017\/01\/16\/104922\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian central bank registers Areximbank-Gazprombank Group and Ardshinbank deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, January 16. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> The Central Bank of Armenia upheld and registered Areximbank-Gazprombank Group and Ardshinbank\u2019s deal on January 10, the regulator\u2019s press office reported on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>It said in its press release that Ardshinbank and Areximbank \u2013Gazprombank Group have carried out all their contractual procedures.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, the central bank has registered the handover act and appropriate changes in Ardshinbank\u2019s regulations, in accordance with which the activity of Areximbank \u2013Gazprombank will be terminated and Ardshinbank will become its heir.<\/p>\n<p>The regulator has also voided the license of Areximbank \u2013 Gazprombank Group. The decision comes into force from the very moment of the signing.<\/p>\n<p>On October 7, 2016, Region Finance Industrial Corporation fully owned by Karen Safaryan, a prominent Russian businessmen who is the chairman of Ardshinbank\u2019s board, stroke a deal with Areximbank \u2013 Gazprombank Group to buy 100% of its shares.<\/p>\n<p>Ardshinbank CJSC (Ardshininvestbank before renamed Ardshinbank on November 13, 2014) was registered in February 2003.
