The amount sent outside in December 2016 was 63.17% greater than in the previous months.<\/p>\n<p>Net inflow amounted to $102.5 million in December 2016 against $66.8 million in December 2015 and 80.5% more than in November 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Money transfers from Russia grew 25.4% in December 2016 compared with the previous month and 6.6% compared with the same month a year before, to $94.1 million.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, $27.9 million was transferred from Armenia to Russia in December 2016 \u2013 11.83% more than in November 2016, but 42% less than in December 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The central bank&#8217;s preliminary calculation shows that the inflow of money transfers to Armenia in 2016 totaled $1 532.8 million (6% decline) and the outflow amounted to $816.9 million (7.3% growth).<\/p>\n<p>As a result, the net inflow amounted to about $715.9 million in 2016 showing a 17% year-on-year decline.
