Individual deposits made up 50% of them.<\/p>\n<p>Yeritsyan said that the growth shows productivity of the Armenian banking sector\u2019s activity.<br \/>\nAccording to the central bank, deposits at Armenia\u2019s banks totaled AMD 2 413 billion in late December 2016 \u2013 23.7% more than in late 2015.<\/p>\n<p>In February, bank deposits exceeded AMD 2 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>Dram deposits grew 30.3% to AMD 698.6 billion and deposits in foreign currencies 10.1% to AMD 1 063 billion. In total, residents\u2019 deposits in banks amounted to AMD 1 761 billion in late December 2016 showing a 17.3-percent year-on-year growth.<\/p>\n<p>Nonresidents\u2019 deposits totaled AMD 651.5 billion (45% growth).
