{"id":105846,"date":"2017-02-16T11:15:01","date_gmt":"2017-02-16T11:15:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2017\/02\/16\/245943\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:28:03","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:28:03","slug":"armenian-investment-companies-undistributed-profits-grow-2-5-times-in-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2017\/02\/16\/105846\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian investment companies\u2019 undistributed profits grow 2.5 times in 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, February 16. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenian investment companies\u2019 undistributed profits grew 2.5 times in 2016, compared with the previous year, to AMD 1 951 million, the Central Bank of Armenia reports.<\/p>\n<p>They assets totaled AMD 41.6 billion in late 2016 after growing 45.1% over one year.<\/p>\n<p>The investment companies\u2019 aggregate liabilities amounted to AMD 35.1 billion showing a 43.1% year-on-year growth and their total capital reached AMD 6.5 billion after growing 1.5 times in 2016, compared with 2015.<\/p>\n<p>According to the central bank, eight investment companies operate in Armenia now. The country\u2019s 17 commercial banks provide investment services at securities markets as well.
