{"id":106520,"date":"2017-03-20T11:12:37","date_gmt":"2017-03-20T11:12:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2017\/03\/20\/246088\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:28:35","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:28:35","slug":"around-89-8-million-bought-by-armenian-banks-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2017\/03\/20\/106520\/","title":{"rendered":"Around $89.8 million bought by Armenian banks last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, March 20. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia\u2019s commercial banks bought around $89.8 million from the local foreign currency market on March 13 to 17 at the average weighted exchange rate of 483.89 drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia reported on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>It said the banks also bought 15.9 million euros and 847.3 million Russian rubles at the average weighted exchange rates of 513.98 and 8.19 drams per one euro and one ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The banks also sold about $91.3 million, \u20ac 11.4 million and 416.4 million rubles at average weighted exchange rates of 485.34, 518.22 and 8.30 drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>No dollar exchange transactions have been effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange over the mentioned period.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, from March 6 to 12, the banks provided 37.3 billion drams worth loans in the national currency and $53.9 million worth loans in USD.
