{"id":106789,"date":"2017-04-03T12:54:29","date_gmt":"2017-04-03T12:54:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2017\/04\/03\/246126\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:28:43","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:28:43","slug":"armenian-banks-bought-81-9-million-at-local-forex-market","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2017\/04\/03\/106789\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian banks bought $81.9 million at local forex market"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, April 3. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenian commercial banks bought a total of $81.9 million at the local forex marked in a time span from March 27 to March 31 at the weighted average rate of 483.06 drams for $1, the press service of the Central Bank said.<\/p>\n<p>It said they also bought 16.8 million euros and about 936.1 million Russian rubles at the weighted average rates of 520.62 drams for \u20ac1 and 8.47 drams for 1 ruble, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, they sold about $103.6 million, \u20ac13.3 million and 392 million Russian rubles at the weighted average rates of 484.39 drams, 524.58 drams and 8.57 drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Also $700,000 worth transactions with USD were effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange at the exchange rate of 484 drams per one USD.<\/p>\n<p>Besides, , from March 20 to March 26, the banks provided about 44.9 billion drams worth loans in the national currency and $44.4 million worth loans in USD.
