{"id":106910,"date":"2017-04-07T12:53:38","date_gmt":"2017-04-07T12:53:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2017\/04\/07\/246146\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:28:47","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:28:47","slug":"armenian-direct-investments-in-georgia-dropped-by-52-8-last-year-to-5-6-million","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2017\/04\/07\/106910\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian direct investments in Georgia dropped by 52.8% last year to $5.6 million"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, April 7. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia&#8217;s direct investments in Georgia in 2016 amounted to $5.6 million, by $6.3 (52.8%) million down from the previous year, according to the National Statistics Service of Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>According to Armenian statistics, aggregate Georgian investments in Armenia in 2016 amounted to 1.010 billion drams ($2 million), while direct investments totaled 133.7 million drams ($276,000).<\/p>\n<p>According to Georgia&#8217;s statistics, with $578.3 million investments, Azerbaijan was the country&#8217;s largest foreign investor for the second consecutive year in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Direct investments from Turkey to Georgia last year amounted to $272.3 million, from Russia \u2013 to $22.5 million, $13 million worth investments came from Ukraine, $11 million from Iran.
