{"id":107211,"date":"2017-04-25T12:53:00","date_gmt":"2017-04-25T12:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2017\/04\/25\/246205\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:29:01","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:29:01","slug":"75-8-million-bought-by-armenian-banks-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2017\/04\/25\/107211\/","title":{"rendered":"$75.8 million bought by Armenian banks last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, April 25. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia\u2019s commercial banks bought around $75.8 million from the local foreign currency market on April 17 to 21 at the average weighted exchange rate of 484.48 drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia reported on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>It said the banks also bought 11 million euros and 877.8 million Russian rubles at the average weighted exchange rates of 516.44 and 8.59 drams per one euro and one ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The banks also sold about $81.3 million, \u20ac 10.8 million and 425.4 million rubles at average weighted exchange rates of 485.89, 520.15 and 8.68 drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>No dollar exchange transactions have been effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange over the mentioned period.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, from April 10 to 16, the banks provided 41.9 billion drams worth loans in the national currency and $54.3 million worth loans in USD.
