{"id":107724,"date":"2017-05-22T13:25:28","date_gmt":"2017-05-22T13:25:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2017\/05\/22\/246322\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:29:27","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:29:27","slug":"around-86-5-million-bought-by-armenian-banks-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2017\/05\/22\/107724\/","title":{"rendered":"Around $86.5 million bought by Armenian banks last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, May 22. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia\u2019s commercial banks bought around $86.5 million from the local foreign currency market on May 15 to 20 at the average weighted exchange rate of 424.84 drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia reported on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>It said the banks also bought 10.4 million euros and 1.3 billion Russian rubles at the average weighted exchange rates of 531.73 and 8.45 drams per one euro and one ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The banks also sold about $94.6 million, \u20ac 15.1 million and 415.2 million rubles at average weighted exchange rates of 484.36, 535.12 and 8.55 drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Dollar exchange transactions totaling $400 000 have been effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange over the mentioned period at 483.20 drams per one dollar.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, from May 8 to 14, the banks provided 30.2 billion drams worth loans in the national currency and $29.9 million worth loans in USD.
