{"id":107984,"date":"2017-06-01T10:09:03","date_gmt":"2017-06-01T10:09:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2017\/06\/01\/246374\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:29:39","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:29:39","slug":"deposits-at-armenian-commercial-banks-grow-0-8-to-amd-2-434-1-billion-in-april-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2017\/06\/01\/107984\/","title":{"rendered":"Deposits at Armenian commercial banks grow 0.8% to AMD 2 434 1 billion in April 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, June 1. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Aggregate deposits at Armenian commercial banks amounted to AMD 2 434 1 billion in late April 2017 after growing 0.8% over one month, the National Statistical Service reports.<\/p>\n<p>According to the central bank&#8217;s data, residents&#8217; deposits totaled AMD 1 817.3 billion in late April showing a 0.8-percent month-on-month growth.<\/p>\n<p>Residents&#8217; deposits in drams grew 1.3% to AMD 741.1 billion and their deposits in foreign currencies grew 0.46% to AMD 1 076.2 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Residents&#8217; demand deposits shrank 1.2% to AMD 233.4 billion, while their time deposits grew 2.5% to AMD 507.6 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Demand deposits in foreign currencies totaled AMD 264.5 billion (0.4% growth) and time deposits AMD 811.6 billion (0.48% growth).<\/p>\n<p>Nonresidents&#8217; deposits in Armenia\u2019s commercial banks grew 0.8% to AMD 611.8 billion by late April.
