{"id":108041,"date":"2017-06-05T10:45:40","date_gmt":"2017-06-05T10:45:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2017\/06\/05\/246382\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:29:40","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:29:40","slug":"around-66-7-million-bought-by-armenian-banks-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2017\/06\/05\/108041\/","title":{"rendered":"Around $66.7 million bought by Armenian banks last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, June 5. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia\u2019s commercial banks bought around $66.7 million from the local foreign currency market on May 29 to June 2 at the average weighted exchange rate of 481.03 drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia reported on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>It said the banks also bought 10.3 million euros and 1 billion Russian rubles at the average weighted exchange rates of 536.46 and 8.45 drams per one euro and one ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The banks also sold about $88.3 million, \u20ac 11.1 million and 495.2 million rubles at average weighted exchange rates of 482.57, 540.64 and 8.55 drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>No dollar exchange transactions have been effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange over the mentioned period.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, from May 22 to 28, the banks provided 38.9 billion drams worth loans in the national currency and $63.8 million worth loans in USD.
