It said when compared to the beginning of the year, loans to residents grew by 5.2%.<\/p>\n<p>Loans in foreign currency amounted to the equivalent of 1.406.2 trillion drams (an increase of 0.15% from May), and loans in drams increased by 4.5% to 820.5 billion drams.<\/p>\n<p>Loans provided to businesses totaled 1.251.4 trillion drams (an increase of 0.9%), and loans provided to households grew by 1.8% to 817.9 billion drams. Loans provided to non-residents in June decreased by 9.6% from May to 263.8 billion drams.
