{"id":110562,"date":"2017-10-23T13:26:49","date_gmt":"2017-10-23T13:26:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2017\/10\/23\/246805\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:31:12","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:31:12","slug":"around-83-3-million-bought-by-armenian-banks-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2017\/10\/23\/110562\/","title":{"rendered":"Around $83.3 million bought by Armenian banks last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, October 23. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia\u2019s commercial banks bought around $83.3 million from the local foreign currency market on October 16 to 20 at the average weighted exchange rate of 480.79 drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia reported on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>It said the banks also bought 9.3 million euros and 1.36 billion Russian rubles at the average weighted exchange rates of 565.37 and 8.35 drams per one euro and one ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The banks also sold about $88.5 million, \u20ac 16.8 million and 569.08 million rubles at average weighted exchange rates of 482.21, 569.08 and 8.44 drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>No dollar exchange transactions have been effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange over the mentioned period.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, from October 9 to 15, the banks provided 37 billion drams worth loans in the national currency and $50.7 million worth loans in USD.
