{"id":111259,"date":"2017-11-27T12:01:22","date_gmt":"2017-11-27T12:01:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2017\/11\/27\/246928\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:31:38","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:31:38","slug":"around-79-million-bought-by-armenian-banks-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2017\/11\/27\/111259\/","title":{"rendered":"Around $79 million bought by Armenian banks last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, November 27. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia\u2019s commercial banks bought around $79 million from the local foreign currency market on November 20 to 24 at the average weighted exchange rate of 483.21 drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia reported on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>It said the banks also bought 8.4 million euros and 1.47 billion Russian rubles at the average weighted exchange rates of 568.63 and 8.14 drams per one euro and one ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The banks also sold about $89.9 million, \u20ac 15.3 million and 485.38 million rubles at average weighted exchange rates of 484.83, 571.83 and 8.25 drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>No dollar exchange transactions have been effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange over the mentioned period.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, from November 13 to 19, the banks provided 43.6 billion drams worth loans in the national currency and $35.9 million worth loans in USD.
