{"id":111771,"date":"2017-12-21T12:55:42","date_gmt":"2017-12-21T12:55:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2017\/12\/21\/247034\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:32:01","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:32:01","slug":"inflow-of-money-transfers-into-armenia-accounts-for-16-7-year-on-year-growth-and-outflow-for-27","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2017\/12\/21\/111771\/","title":{"rendered":"Inflow of money transfers into Armenia accounts for 16.7% year-on-year growth and outflow for 27%"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, December 21. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Around $1 397.7 million has come to Armenia over the first ten months of this year through banks as noncommercial individual transfers &#8211; 16.7% less than in the same period a year earlier, the Central Bank of Armenia says on its website.<\/p>\n<p>Money transfers from Armenia abroad totaled $814.5 million in Jan-Oct 2017 against $641.1 million in the same period a year before 26.9% year-on-year growth.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, net inflow of remittances amounted to $583.5 million in Jan-Oct 2017 accounting for a 4.8% year-on-year growth.<\/p>\n<p>Remittances from Russia grew 17.2% to $853 million, and outflow from Armenia to Russia grew 10.4% to $309.7 million.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Central Bank of Armenia, $1 532.8 million has been transferred to Armenia in 2016 \u2013 a 6 percent decline and $816.9 million has been transferred from Armenia outside \u2013 a 7.3% growth.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, net inflow amounted to about $715.9 million (17% decline).
