{"id":111965,"date":"2018-01-09T09:23:42","date_gmt":"2018-01-09T09:23:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2018\/01\/09\/247066\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:32:09","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:32:09","slug":"overdue-loans-of-armenian-banks-dropped-by-6-2-percent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2018\/01\/09\/111965\/","title":{"rendered":"Overdue loans of Armenian banks dropped by 6.2 percent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, January 9. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> The overdue loans of Armenian banks slashed by 6.2% in late November 2017 when compared to the previous month, to 43.1 billion drams, according to the National Statistical Service (NSS).<\/p>\n<p>According to the figures, short-term overdue loans decreased by 1.4% to 18.9 billion drams, while long-term overdue loans dropped by 9.5% to about 24.2 billion drams.<\/p>\n<p>During the reporting period, the amount of extended loans decreased by 6% to 112.3 billion drams.<br \/>\nCredit investments made by the banks rose by 5% in late November to 2.141.4 trillion drams, while loans in foreign currency increased by 0.95% to the equivalent of 1.357.7 trillion drams, and loans in Armenian drams grew by 13.1% to 783.6 billion drams.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of November, the aggregate amount of loans provided by Armenian banks stood at 2. 296.9 billion drams, an increase of 4.9%.
