{"id":112751,"date":"2018-02-26T13:46:08","date_gmt":"2018-02-26T13:46:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2018\/02\/26\/247208\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:32:41","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:32:41","slug":"around-80-2-million-bought-by-armenian-banks-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2018\/02\/26\/112751\/","title":{"rendered":"Around $80.2 million bought by Armenian banks last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, February 26. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia\u2019s commercial banks bought around $80.2 million from the local foreign currency market on February 19 to 23 at the average weighted exchange rate of 480 drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia reported on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>It said the banks also bought 8 million euros and 978.5 million Russian rubles at the average weighted exchange rates of 592.55 and 8.45 drams per one euro and one ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The banks also sold about $79.5 million, \u20ac 17.1 million and 533.8 million rubles at average weighted exchange rates of 481.26, 594.85 and 8.55 drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>No dollar exchange transactions have been effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange over the mentioned period.<br \/>\nIn addition, from February 12 to 18, the banks have provided 54.5 billion drams worth loans in the national currency and $35.5 million worth loans in USD.
