{"id":113226,"date":"2018-03-26T13:57:15","date_gmt":"2018-03-26T13:57:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2018\/03\/26\/247299\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:33:01","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:33:01","slug":"around-80-6-million-bought-by-armenian-banks-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2018\/03\/26\/113226\/","title":{"rendered":"Around $80.6 million bought by Armenian banks last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, March 26. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia\u2019s commercial banks bought around $80.6 million from the local foreign currency market on March 19 to 23 at the average weighted exchange rate of 479.56 drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia reported on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>It said the banks also bought 6.97 million euros and 842.8 million Russian rubles at the average weighted exchange rates of 588.78 and 8.31 drams per one euro and one ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The banks also sold about $72 million, \u20ac 14.1 million and 507 million rubles at average weighted exchange rates of 480.82, 591.87 and 8.4 drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>No dollar exchange transactions have been effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange over the mentioned period.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, from March 12 to 18, the banks have provided 74.1 billion drams worth loans in the national currency and $46.4 million worth loans in USD.
