{"id":113985,"date":"2018-05-14T14:34:12","date_gmt":"2018-05-14T14:34:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2018\/05\/14\/247435\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:33:34","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:33:34","slug":"around-68-6-million-bought-by-armenian-banks-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2018\/05\/14\/113985\/","title":{"rendered":"Around $68.6 million bought by Armenian banks last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, May 14. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia\u2019s commercial banks bought around $68.6 million from the local foreign currency market on May 7 to 11 at the average weighted exchange rate of 485.38 drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia reported on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>It said the banks also bought 11 million euros and 862.7 million Russian rubles at the average weighted exchange rates of 578.48 and 7.71 drams per one euro and one ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The banks also sold about $71.1 million, \u20ac 17.5 million and 546.3 million rubles at average weighted exchange rates of 487.06, 581.27 and 7.83 drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>No dollar exchange transactions have been effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange over the mentioned period.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, from April 30 to May 6, the banks have provided 74.5 billion drams worth loans in the national currency and $80.6 million worth loans in USD.
