{"id":114108,"date":"2018-05-21T10:36:38","date_gmt":"2018-05-21T10:36:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2018\/05\/21\/247468\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:33:42","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:33:42","slug":"around-93-5-million-bought-by-armenian-banks-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2018\/05\/21\/114108\/","title":{"rendered":"Around $93.5 million bought by Armenian banks last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, May 21. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia\u2019s commercial banks bought around $93.5 million from the local foreign currency market on May 14 to 18 at the average weighted exchange rate of 483.42 drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia reported on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>It said the banks also bought 9.1 million euros and 1091.9 million Russian rubles at the average weighted exchange rates of 573.52 and 7.76 drams per one euro and one ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The banks also sold about $92.79 million, \u20ac 14.7 million and 546.6 million rubles at average weighted exchange rates of 484.73, 577.07 and 7.86 drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>No dollar exchange transactions have been effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange over the mentioned period.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, from May 7 to May 13, the banks have provided 56.8 billion drams worth loans in the national currency and $31.6 million worth loans in USD.
