{"id":114236,"date":"2018-05-29T16:35:20","date_gmt":"2018-05-29T16:35:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2018\/05\/29\/247492\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:33:46","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:33:46","slug":"around-71-million-bought-by-armenian-banks-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2018\/05\/29\/114236\/","title":{"rendered":"Around $71 million bought by Armenian banks last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, May 29. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia\u2019s commercial banks bought around $71 million from the local foreign currency market on May 21 to 25 at the average weighted exchange rate of 482 drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia reported on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>It said the banks also bought 10.3 million euros and 1080.2 million Russian rubles at the average weighted exchange rates of 565.05 and 7.77 drams per one euro and one ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The banks also sold about $85.9 million, \u20ac 15.8 million and 616.8 million rubles at average weighted exchange rates of 483.28, 569.06 and 7.867 drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>No dollar exchange transactions have been effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange over the mentioned period.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, from May 14 to May 20, the banks have provided 63.1 billion drams worth loans in the national currency and $42.2 million worth loans in USD.
