{"id":114971,"date":"2018-07-09T14:58:50","date_gmt":"2018-07-09T14:58:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2018\/07\/09\/247640\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:34:18","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:34:18","slug":"around-65-million-bought-by-armenian-banks-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2018\/07\/09\/114971\/","title":{"rendered":"Around $65 million bought by Armenian banks last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, July 9. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia\u2019s commercial banks bought around $65 million from the local foreign currency market on July 2 to 6 at the average weighted exchange rate of 482.08 drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia reported on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>It said the banks also bought 19.4 million euros and 1 476.7 million Russian rubles at the average weighted exchange rates of 561.25 and 7.62 drams per one euro and one ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The banks also sold about $76.7 million, \u20ac 24.4 million and 558.9 million rubles at average weighted exchange rates of 483.29, 563.48 and 7.70 drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>No dollar exchange transactions have been effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange over the mentioned period.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, from June 25 to July 1, the banks have provided 72.7 billion drams worth loans in the national currency and $71.3 million worth loans in USD.
