{"id":115147,"date":"2018-07-18T10:15:00","date_gmt":"2018-07-18T10:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2018\/07\/18\/247674\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:34:27","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:34:27","slug":"ranking-of-biggest-profit-gainers-among-armenias-commercial-banks-for-1st-h-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2018\/07\/18\/115147\/","title":{"rendered":"Ranking of biggest profit-gainers among Armenia\u2019s commercial banks for 1st H 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, July 18. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> ARKA News Agency issues a fresh ranking of the biggest profit-gainers among Armenia\u2019s commercial banks for the first half of 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The Armenian banking sector\u2019s net profit amounted to AMD 36.3 billion in the 1st H 2018 \u2013 it has doubled, compared with the same period a year before.<\/p>\n<p>All the 17 banks of Armenia ended the first half of this year with profits.<\/p>\n<p>Such a good profit result was seen last in the banking sector in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Ameriabank, Artsakhbank, ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK, Inecobank and Ardshinbank are topping the ranking with their 59.2% of Armenia\u2019s all banks\u2019 aggregate profits.<\/p>\n<p>Ameriabank, with its AMD 5.9 billion, found itself atop the ranking. Compared with the same period a year earlier, its profit grew 77.4% in the 1st H 2018 from AMD 3.3 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Artsakhbank was the second biggest profit-gainer among Armenian commercial banks in the first half of this year.
