{"id":116094,"date":"2018-09-17T15:01:28","date_gmt":"2018-09-17T15:01:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2018\/09\/17\/247836\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:35:00","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:35:00","slug":"around-87-million-bought-by-armenian-banks-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2018\/09\/17\/116094\/","title":{"rendered":"Around $87 million bought by Armenian banks last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, September 17. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia\u2019s commercial banks bought around $87 million from the local foreign currency market on September 10 to 14 at the average weighted exchange rate of 484.47 drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia reported on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>It said the banks also bought 16.8 million euros and 1 350.4 million Russian rubles at the average weighted exchange rates of 561.52 and 6.94 drams per one euro and one ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The banks also sold about $90.7 million, \u20ac 17.4 million and 713.8 million rubles at average weighted exchange rates of 485.89, 564.61 and 7.03 drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>No dollar exchange transactions have been effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange over the mentioned period.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, from September 3 to 9, the banks have provided 84.2 billion drams worth loans in the national currency and $47.2 million worth loans in USD.
