According to the minister, in 2018 the public debt is expected to make up 50.4% of GDP.<\/p>\n<p>According to the National Statistical Committee, Armenia&#8217;s aggregate state debt at the end of August 2018 stood at $6.762.5 billion, having increased by $3.5 million from the previous month. When compared to the beginning of the year it was down by $12.1 million.<\/p>\n<p>In late August the government-owed debt stood at $6.182.7 billion, including $4.856.8 billion worth external debt ($15.1 decrease) and the domestic debt worth $1.325.8 billion ($15.4 million increase).
