{"id":116438,"date":"2018-10-08T14:56:00","date_gmt":"2018-10-08T14:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2018\/10\/08\/247903\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:35:15","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:35:15","slug":"around-99-3-million-bought-by-armenian-banks-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2018\/10\/08\/116438\/","title":{"rendered":"Around $99.3 million bought by Armenian banks last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, October 8. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia\u2019s commercial banks bought around $99.3 million from the local foreign currency market on October 1 to 5 at the average weighted exchange rate of 483.28 drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia reported on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>It said the banks also bought 9.18 million euros and 1 930.6 million Russian rubles at the average weighted exchange rates of 557.08 and 7.32 drams per one euro and one ruble respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The banks also sold about $109.3 million, \u20ac 33.6 million and 762.5 million rubles at average weighted exchange rates of 484.72, 560.53 and 7.43 drams respectively.<\/p>\n<p>No dollar exchange transactions have been effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange over the mentioned period.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, from September 24 to 30, the banks have provided 66 billion drams worth loans in the national currency and $73.1 million worth loans in USD.
