Loans grew by AMD 42.8 billion in December alone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The loans provided by the banks to residents have grown 16.5% since the beginning of the year to AMD 2 890.4 billion, of which AMD 1 331.5 billion has been lent in Armenian drams (38.5% growth) and AMD 1 558.8 billion in US dollars (2.6% growth). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the central bank&#8217;s report, the loans extended to organizations totaled AMD 1 534.9 billion (8.8% growth), to households AMD 1 139 billion (29.1% growth), to non-profit companies AMD 119.5 billion (12.5% growth) and to other financial organizations AMD 96.8 billion (17.9% growth).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides, AMD 238.1 billion had been lent to non-residents as of December 31, 2018 (16.1% growth).
