First quarter inflation in Armenia was 1.5%, according to official statistics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Food products,  including alcoholic beverages and tobacco products increased by 2.6% in January-March 2019 as opposed to  January-March 2018, while prices for non-food products and services increased by 0.8% and 0.4%, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In March 2019,  consumer prices rose by 1.9%, when compared to March 2018, while prices for food products, including alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, increased by 3.5%. Prices for non-food products and services grew by 0. 9% and 0.1%, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the National Statistical Committee, in March consumer prices rose by 0.1% compared with February.
