The main sponsor of the event  is ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK and the American Express cards, which the bank has the exclusive right to issue in Armenia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of the event is to stimulate tourism in Armenia and ensure the country&#8217;s recognition as one of the oldest cradles of winemaking, ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK said in a press release today.<br>\nIt said within the framework of the festival more than 200 types of wines from Armenian wineries will be presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The Bank has been with the real sector of the economy since its establishment, financing projects that are aimed at the development of the economy. I am convinced that such events serve as  a stimulus for domestic producers to showcase their products and make them recognizable. Therefore, we could not be indifferent towards all this,&#8221; said Artyom Ghazaryan, head of Marketing Communications division at  ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Nune Manukyan, the organizer of the event, ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK is one of the companies that always support local producers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We also organized the &#8220;Areni&#8221; Wine Festival. And if ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE Bank had not showed support to the villagers, viniculture would not have developed this much, and we would not have this many wine-makers today,&#8221; said Nune Manukyan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>About 25,000 people visit the &#8220;Yerevan Wine Days&#8221; every year, about 40% of them being  foreign tourists. The event directly contributes to the development of tourism in Armenia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ACBA was established in 1996 as part of EU\u2019s TACIS program. As a result of a long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation between ACBA Bank and the French Credit Agricole the latter became the biggest shareholder of ACBA in 2006, September.
