{"id":123554,"date":"2019-08-07T14:56:05","date_gmt":"2019-08-07T14:56:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2019\/08\/07\/248674\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:38:24","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:38:24","slug":"armenias-investment-climate-is-satisfactory-efsd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2019\/08\/07\/123554\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenia&#8217;s  investment climate is satisfactory, EFSD"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>YEREVAN, August 7. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia&#8217;s investment climate, according to the latest Doing Business 2019 report, is satisfactory, said  Andrey Shirokov, the Executive Director of the Project Unit at  the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (EFSD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said compared with the previous report, Armenia\u2019s rating has improved  by 1 position, and progress has been made in all areas, except for\u201c obtaining loans \u201dand\u201c international trade, \u201d which remained unchanged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shirokov added  that, however, this has not yet been reflected in the inflow of foreign direct investment, which at the end of 2018 made only 2.1% of GDP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The latest Doing Business 2019 ranking, released annually by the World Bank, ranks Armenia 41st among 190 countries.
