{"id":124327,"date":"2019-09-25T14:59:12","date_gmt":"2019-09-25T14:59:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2019\/09\/25\/248770\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:38:50","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:38:50","slug":"the-2019-yearned-inflation-rate-in-armenia-will-be-lower-than-projected","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2019\/09\/25\/124327\/","title":{"rendered":"The 2019 yearned inflation rate in Armenia will be lower than projected"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>YEREVAN, September 25. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> The 2019 yearned inflation rate in Armenia will be lower than projected,  the Central Bank said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the regulator, the weak inflationary environment this year has resulted from a number of external and internal factors, making it  pursue a restrained monetary policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Central Bank believes that low inflation is currently helping curb the long-term inflation expectations and maintain income solvency. This is why  the regulator prefers to pursue a policy that will gradually recover the inflation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Central Bank, the main reason for mid-term low inflation is the low aggregate demand and restrained fiscal policy of the government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the National Statistical Committee, in August the prices fell by 0.4% when compared with July. At the same time, inflation in  January-August 2019 compared to the same period in 2018 was  1.8%.
