{"id":126343,"date":"2020-01-15T06:47:04","date_gmt":"2020-01-15T06:47:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2020\/01\/15\/249028\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:39:55","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:39:55","slug":"government-of-armenia-encourages-companies-to-enter-capital-market","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2020\/01\/15\/126343\/","title":{"rendered":"Government of Armenia  encourages companies to enter capital market"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>YEREVAN, January 15. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> The government of Armenia will develop a system of mechanisms to encourage local companies to enter the capital market, Economy Minister Tigran Khachatryan told reporters on Tuesday, adding that the goal is to improve the country&#8217;s position in the World Bank&#8217;s  Doing Business report, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The World Bank&#8217;s latest Doing Business survey downgraded Armenia\u2019s position despite reporting an improvement in the country\u2019s investment climate. Armenia ranked 47th. The Doing Business survey assessed economic conditions in 190 nations with a range of specific indicators. Armenia was 41st in last year\u2019s global rankings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOther things being equal, we can say that Armenia did not change its position in the Doing Business report. The changes were caused only by the methodology used by the World Bank to calculate the parameters,\u201d Khachatryan said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Khachatryan, to change the situation, the government is working on the development of the capital market.
