{"id":126621,"date":"2020-01-31T06:45:52","date_gmt":"2020-01-31T06:45:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2020\/01\/31\/249076\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:40:06","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:40:06","slug":"ebrd-has-invested-a-total-of-1-4-billion-euros-in-180-projects-in-armenia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2020\/01\/31\/126621\/","title":{"rendered":"EBRD has invested a total of 1.4 billion euros in 180 projects in Armenia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>YEREVAN, January 31. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Since its inception in Armenia in 1992 the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD has invested a total of 1.4 billion euros in 180 projects, the head of the EBRD Yerevan Office Dimitry Gvindadze said at a press conference on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said the year of 2019 was one of the most successful in terms of  investments- about 120 million euros  were channeled into 15 projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Gvindadze,  the bank\u2019s vision is to create stable and innovative businesses that provide opportunities for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;While implementing our projects, we work to ensure compliance with the following principles: competitiveness, inclusiveness, stability, integration, good manageability and environmental friendliness,&#8221; Gvindadze said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Gvindadze, the bank&#8217;s current projects portfolio in Armenia is about 365 million euros. <br>\n\u201cOur difference from other investment financial institutions is that the majority of our investments &#8211; about 90%, are channeled into the private sector.
