{"id":127045,"date":"2020-02-17T13:23:50","date_gmt":"2020-02-17T13:23:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2020\/02\/17\/249152\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:40:24","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:40:24","slug":"armenian-motorists-can-use-aswa-app-to-register-traffic-accidents-online","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2020\/02\/17\/127045\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian motorists can use ASWA app to register traffic accidents online"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>YEREVAN, February 17. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia&#8217;s Bureau of Car  Insurers said  physical damage caused to a car or cars in a traffic accident that does not exceed 100 thousand drams (about $208) can be registered by motorists  themselves by using the ASWA mobile application to fill out the electronic form of the Agreed Declaration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It said the application can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store and Google Play Store platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using the mobile application, an accident can be registered online either by one of the drivers involved  in the accident, or by any third party,  who is registered in the application and has access to the Internet,  the Bureau said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It said also when registering an accident through the mobile application, it is no longer necessary to fill out a paper declaration and inform the insurance company about the accident by phone, since the information is immediately sent to the company\u2019s email. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mandatory insurance against physical damage caused to other cars and individuals became mandatory in the country on January 1, 2011.
