{"id":13032,"date":"2010-07-09T06:43:13","date_gmt":"2010-07-09T06:43:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2010\/07\/09\/231246\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:47:40","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:47:40","slug":"areximbank-gazprombank-group-prepares-to-shift-to-electronic-circulation-of-documents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2010\/07\/09\/13032\/","title":{"rendered":"Areximbank-gazprombank group prepares to shift to electronic circulation of documents"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, July 8, \/ARKA\/<\/strong>.\u00a0 Areximbank-Gazprombank Group is the first Armenian bank to launch the process of shifting\u00a0 to\u00a0 full electronic circulation of documents as part of a paperless strategy designed to improve document management.\u00a0 The bank said in a press release that the electronic format allows to substantially cut the time of documents circulation and raise the management efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>According to some Western consulting companies,\u00a0 employees spend\u00a0 20-30% of their work time on doing regular paper work.<\/p>\n<p>Hasmik Nersisyan, chief of the information technology department\u00a0 of the bank, said the system will be installed\u00a0 in late August while the process of shifting to full electronic circulation of documents, together with personnel training, will be over in late 2010. She said also\u00a0 together with the bank, its major corporate clients will also shift to electronic circulation of documents.<\/p>\n<p>Areximbank-Gazprombank Group is a member of international payments systems VISA International and MasterCard International. The bank is owned fully by Gazprombank. On March 31 its\u00a0 total reserves were worth 45.6 billion Drams, liabilities stood at 31.6 billion Drams, its total capital totaled 14.1 billion Drams, chartered capital was worth\u00a0 12.3\u00a0 billion Drams, credit portfolio stood at\u00a0 25.1\u00a0 billion Drams. In the first quarter of 2010 it earned about 88 million Drams in net profits. The bank has 15 branches, 6 in Yerevan and 9 in regions.
