{"id":133591,"date":"2021-05-19T17:37:26","date_gmt":"2021-05-19T17:37:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2021\/05\/19\/249823\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:44:21","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:44:21","slug":"money-transfers-to-armenia-in-q1-grew-to-406-million","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2021\/05\/19\/133591\/","title":{"rendered":"Money transfers to Armenia in Q1 grew to $406 million"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>YEREVAN, May 19. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>Individual money transfers to Armenia in the first quarter of 2021 grew by\u00a0\u00a014.7% or $52 million to $406 million, Executive Director of the Union of Banks of Armenia (UBA) Seyran Sargsyan said at a press conference on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to him, the bulk&nbsp;&nbsp;&#8211; about $154 million &#8211; came from Russia, another $118 million &#8211; from the United States, $13 million from Kazakhstan, $15 million from Germany, $12 million from France and smaller amounts from other countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also noted that money transfers from Armenia to other countries in the first quarter increased by 3.9% or $10 million to $277 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to him, $86 million were remitted to Russia,&nbsp;&nbsp;$44 million to&nbsp;&nbsp;the United States and smaller amounts to other countries.
