In the reporting period of time the banks\u2019 aggregate capital grew by 6.2% from the beginning of the year to 304.3 billion Drams.<\/p>\n<p>According to an analysis of the reports, made by ARKA, the amount of credit investments of all banks grew by 8.8% from the fourth quarter of 2009 to 797.4 billion Drams. The banks\u2019 total liabilities to customers dropped by 2.4% if compared to the late 2009 to 703 billion Drams. Their profits in the second quarter grew by 2.5 times year-on-year to 14.8 billion Drams. On June 30 there were 21 commercial banks in Armenia.
