{"id":136986,"date":"2021-12-10T11:25:24","date_gmt":"2021-12-10T11:25:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2021\/12\/10\/250117\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:46:18","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:46:18","slug":"armenian-pm-calls-for-increasing-share-of-national-currencies-in-settlement-of-transactions-within-eeu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2021\/12\/10\/136986\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian PM calls for increasing share of national currencies in settlement of transactions within EEU"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>YER<strong>EVAN, December 10. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>Speaking at a\u00a0meeting\u00a0of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council today via videoconference Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said EEU member states should realize the strategic goal of increasing the share of national currencies in the settlements of trade transactions\u00a0among\u00a0EEU\u00a0member states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his words, the&nbsp;rise&nbsp;in prices&nbsp;of foods and commodities&nbsp;all over the world once again confirm&nbsp;it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to him, a year after the adoption of strategic directions of the EEU development for the next 5 years, &#8216; we can talk about very encouraging and intermediate results.&#8217;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pashinyan&nbsp;noted that an important aspect of&nbsp;the&nbsp;Eurasian integration development and one of the main criteria of the EEU interaction&nbsp;is&nbsp;the development of the Union&#8217;s internal market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said the functioning of the internal market without barriers, restrictions and exemptions&nbsp;&nbsp;will be a powerful impetus for the economic&nbsp;&nbsp;growth of the EEU member states, increasing their competitiveness, boosting business, creating&nbsp;new&nbsp;&nbsp;jobs and reducing unemployment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pashinyan noted that deepening of integration processes will promote structural transformation of economies of the EEU member states, their modernization and diversification which is extremely important&nbsp;amid&nbsp;fluctuating&nbsp;world commodity prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;In addition, it is obvious that trade in services, which has become a dynamic component in today&#8217;s world economy, is a new stimulus for the diversification of exports of developing countries. In such circumstances, the importance of increasing exports of services by the EEU member states, the volume of which is not yet so significant, is growing,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Prime Minister, a monitoring of the implementation of liberalization plans and analysis of the services market of the EEC and its member states will allow to formulate a number of problems of its functioning and to continue further constructive work based on mutual understanding and consideration of interests of all the member states. -0-<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>YEREVAN, December 10. \/ARKA\/.
