{"id":138622,"date":"2022-03-11T11:02:58","date_gmt":"2022-03-11T11:02:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2022\/03\/11\/250227\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:46:54","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:46:54","slug":"armenian-central-bank-responds-to-ukrainian-peers-request","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2022\/03\/11\/138622\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian central bank responds to Ukrainian peer&#8217;s request"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>YEREVAN, March 11. \/ARKA\/.\u00a0<\/strong>Armenia&#8217;s\u00a0Central Bank responded to\u00a0a request\u00a0of the Central Bank of Ukraine to suspend transactions with Russian Mir payment cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The day before, the Central Bank of Ukraine asked the Central Bank of Armenia and a number of other countries&#8217; regulators&nbsp;&nbsp;to stop all transactions with Mir&nbsp;payment cards&nbsp;in their territories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to a request from the Armenpress news agency to comment the request, the Central Bank of Armenia said&nbsp;&nbsp;the public will be properly informed about any action&nbsp;taken in this regard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe National Bank of Ukraine has publicly stated that it has appealed to the banks of partner countries with a call to suspend operations&nbsp;with&nbsp;Russian Mir payment cards.
