{"id":140179,"date":"2022-06-02T13:13:05","date_gmt":"2022-06-02T13:13:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2022\/06\/02\/250368\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:47:41","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:47:41","slug":"central-bank-invalidates-nor-horizons-license","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2022\/06\/02\/140179\/","title":{"rendered":"Central bank invalidates Nor Horizon&#8217;s license"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>YEREVAN, June 2. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0The Management Board of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) said today it has invalidated the license that was awarded to Nor Horizon universal credit organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the press service of the Central Bank, the license was invalidated due to a set of violations of the legislation regulating the activities of credit organizations committed by the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The license had been awarded to the organization in 2006.&nbsp;Nor Horizon LLC was founded by Horizon Foundation, which owned 86% of its shares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The foundation was established in 2002 to help overcome poverty in Armenia, develop SMEs, and improve access to financial services in remote and border areas.
