{"id":141088,"date":"2022-07-20T14:17:33","date_gmt":"2022-07-20T14:17:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2022\/07\/20\/250446\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:48:11","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:48:11","slug":"armenian-finance-minister-head-of-eib-regional-office-discussed-ways-to-enhance-cooperation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2022\/07\/20\/141088\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian finance minister, head of EIB regional office discussed ways to enhance cooperation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>YEREVAN, July\u00a020. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenian Finance Minister Tigran Khachatryan\u00a0and\u00a0Maciej\u00a0Czura,\u00a0Regional\u00a0Representative of the\u00a0European Investment Bank\u00a0for the South Caucasus,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>discussed on Tuesday&nbsp;in Yerevan&nbsp;a wide range of issues of mutual interest, as well as the Armenian government&#8217;s macroeconomic stability strategy for 2023-2025, the press service of the Finance Ministry reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It said they also&nbsp;revised medium-term public expenditure plans&nbsp;of the government&nbsp;and reduction of&nbsp;its&nbsp;debt burden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Khachatryan was said to have highly appreciated the cooperation with the European Investment Bank, which is co-funding projects in various areas, including the construction of the North-South highway, the&nbsp;Sisian-Kajaran road, energy efficiency and transport system management projects in Yerevan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Czura thanked for the warm welcome and expressed support to the Armenian government in the implementation of its ambitious reform program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The long-term and effective cooperation established between the Ministry of Finance of Armenia and the European Investment Bank is our guarantee of success,&#8221; the EIB representative said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The European Investment Bank has been working with Armenia for about 12 years.
