YEREVAN, September 2, \/ARKA\/. The total assets of Armenian insurance companies grew by 4.17% in the second quarter of 2010 (by 711.8 million Drams) to 17.8 billion Drams.<\/p>\n
According to an ARKA analysis, Rosgosstrakh Armenia with 2.7 billion Drams worth assets was the leader in terms of assets size. Its assets rose by 12.4% in the second quarter or by 301.8 million Drams. The company accounted for 15.39% of insurance companies\u2019 overall assets.<\/p>\n
The second largest company, in terms of assets size, was Ingo Armenia with 2.5 billion Drams worth assets. Its assets grew by 7.38% in Q2 or by 172.1 million Drams to make 14.08% of all assets of insurance companies.<\/p>\n
ISG was third with 2.2 billion Drams. It reported a 46.13% growth.<\/p>\n
Cascade Insurance was forth with 1.9 billion Drams worth assets, which dropped by 7.07% or 144.8 million Drams. Rasco was fifth with 1.7 billion Drams worth assets, which fell by 6% or 108.9 million Drams.<\/p>\n
