{"id":150844,"date":"2023-10-02T10:35:09","date_gmt":"2023-10-02T10:35:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2023\/10\/02\/251106\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:52:24","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:52:24","slug":"wb-armenian-dram-exchange-rate-stable-against-usd-and-eur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2023\/10\/02\/150844\/","title":{"rendered":"WB:\u00a0\u00a0Armenian\u00a0dram exchange rate stable against\u00a0\u00a0USD and EUR"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>YEREVAN, October 2. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong>\u00a0half of September but continued to strengthen against the RUB,\u00a0according to the World Bank&#8217;s &#8220;Armenia monthly economic update &#8211; september 2023&#8221; review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As of September 15, the AMD had strengthened by 42 percent compared to the RUB (yoy)&nbsp;Also,&nbsp;international reserves increased by USD 94 million in August, keeping reserves at a historically high level of USD 4.2 billion, equivalent to 3.5 months of import cover<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Financial indicators remained sound, with a slight increase in profitability in July and mild growth in banking credits and deposits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Capital adequacy ratios remained sound at 20.1 percent.
