{"id":154623,"date":"2024-05-06T18:44:05","date_gmt":"2024-05-06T18:44:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2024\/05\/06\/251474\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T13:54:29","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T13:54:29","slug":"deflation-of-0-7-registered-in-armenia-in-april-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2024\/05\/06\/154623\/","title":{"rendered":"Deflation of 0.7% registered in Armenia in April\u00a02024"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>YEREVAN, May 6. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>Consumer prices in Armenia were down 0.7% in April this year compared to April last year, the\u00a0\u00a0National Statistical Committee (NSC) says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, according to the NSC, inflation of 0.6% was registered in April 2024&nbsp;compared&nbsp;to March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pices decreased by 1.1% in January-April 2024 compared to the same period in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The government\u2019s inflation projection for 2024 is 4% (\u00b11.5%). According to the Central Bank, inflation is expected to reach 1.3% in 2024. The forecast for 2025 is 4.6-4.1% and 4.7-4.1%for 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The WB expects inflation in Armenia to be 3% in 2024, 3.5% in 2025 and 4% in 2026.
