This announcement was made by Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan during discussions on the draft state budget for 2025 in parliamentary committees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Armenia&#8217;s public debt will grow to 53.5% of GDP, with a medium-term balance projected at 56.4% of GDP. In light of certain risks, this growth could exceed projections, while in other scenarios, it might be lower,&#8221; Hovhannisyan stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the National Statistical Committee, Armenia&#8217;s total public debt amounted to $12.5 billion as of August 31, 2024.
